In designing this garage and workshop project, several options were considered. While an attached garage was an option as part of a larger renovation, this project ultimately proceeded as a separate, stand-alone carriage house.
Featuring brand new construction, the design includes a brick knee wall to match the existing structure and vertical boards. Designed to complement the surrounding area, the overall design features a symmetrical structure with two parking bays as well as incorporating a workshop space. A cupola provides a striking accent that completes the finished structure.
The exterior styling features traditional carriage house elements, including traditional parking bay doors and wall sconces. The interior was designed for year round comfort and access, including the installation of in-floor heating.
