We’ve had a lot of experience designing additions and renovations for older homes. It is an important criteria for us to honour the original architectural style of a home, particularly if it is a heritage building. This usually requires a great deal of special attention to existing details. As Frank Lloyd Wright has suggested, you must first ‘learn the language of the house’. Then the challenge is to come up with new solutions for the functionality of the home.
